A Rome woman who has a house on Martin Street in Summerville, reported a break-in to Summerville Police on Friday of last week.

Doris Fowler called police after she noticed that the door was open to the residence.  Police came and walked through the house with the complainant.  A padlock inside the house was unlocked and a window air conditioner unit was missing from the house.

Fowler said that the padlock was locked the last time she was at the residence which was about two weeks ago.

The incident was turned over to an investigator with the Summerville Police Department.
