Ft. Payne, Alabama police were lead on a high speed chase yesterday evening that lead the law enforcement officials into Chattooga County.  According to information from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department three suspects, two females and one male,  were in the vehicle that crashed near the Dollar General Store in Menlo.

After the car crashed one of the female suspects ran into the woods behind the Dollar Store and was not found.  The other two suspects were turned over to the Ft. Payne Police Department and will be facing charges in Chattooga County.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department said that none of their officers were involved in the chase and Ft. Payne Police said that they would have more information later Monday morning.
