A thirty-eight-year-old Centre, Alabama man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Sunday on a felony warrant charging him with theft by taking.

According to the arrest warrant, Joshua Steven Clifton went into someone else’s property in Floyd County and took multiple items including brass fittings, radiators, electric motors, transmissions, scaffolding, and other building materials.

The items taken from the property amounted to over $30,000, according to the warrant.

The alleged thefts occurred on March 4 of this year.
