Cherokee County, Alabama authorities investigate a crash over the weekend and a Centre man was taken to the hospital.  According to reports, the accident occurred when the 2000 Ford Focus driven by 39 year old Michael Holcomb left the roadway and crashed into a house.  Alabama State Troopers and Cherokee County Sheriffs Deputies believe that alcohol may have been a factor in the wreck that happened on Saturday night on Cherokee County Road 22 around 11:30 PM (CST)
