A fight between a woman and her juvenile daughter, brought Lafayette Police to their Cook Street address last Saturday night.

According to just released reports, officers said 39 year old Jennifer Walker appeared to be intoxicated when they arrived on the scene.

A witness, identified as the daughter's boyfriend, said Walker pushed the girl first, which, in turn started a scuffle, which the young man quickly broke up although both the mother and daughter showed evidence of minor injuries sustained in the fight.

The mother was charged with Simple Battery under the Family Violence Act.
