An apparent domestic situation involving two parties on Terrapin Creek on Saturday (June, 5th, 2021).

According to reports an apparent verbal altercation led to one man hitting another man with a boat paddle across the side of the head and in the face causing injury, the victim then pulled a gun and fired several shots at his aggressor.

Fortunately it appears that nobody was shot.

There have been numerous accounts as to what initially caused in the incident.

At this time no arrests have yet been made because no formal criminal charges have been filed. One party involved is from Tennessee while the other involved is from Georgia.

According to reports we have obtained from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, both parties have filed Incident/Offense Reports.  We are following this story and will provide any updates should any arrests be made.
