An AtriumHealth-Floyd ambulance driver called 911 shortly before 6 AM on Sunday morning to report an intoxicated driver on Highway 27 (Commerce Street).  The ambulance driver told police, “The car was all over the road”.

A Summerville Police officer found the vehicle on Highland Avenue and performed a traffic stop at George’s Kwik Stop.  The driver, identified as twenty-eight-year-old Adela Reynoso, told officers that she had two or three beers at an Atlanta night club and was driving home to Pennville.  The officer observed several open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.  Reynoso said that they belonged to people she had already dropped off on her way home.

After a field sobriety test, Reynoso was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail on DUI charges.
