Chattooga County has a pet population problem.  Unfortunately, very few of the unwanted pets that wind up at the Chattooga County Animal Shelter get adopted locally.  Animal Advocates of Chattooga County works to get these pets adopted elsewhere.

The group says that they are in need of "foster parents" for animals that are going to be placed elsewhere and need a temporary place to stay.  All of the animals medical and food expenses are taken care of while you "foster parent" the pet.  For more information call Animal Advocates today at 706-857-0679.
