ANOTHER BOMB THREAT PUT LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL ON "LOCK-DOWN" FOR A LITTLE OVER AN HOUR MONDAY.   AGAIN, A "BOMB THREAT" MESSAGE WAS FOUND ON THE STALL OF A RESTROOM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL AROUND 10:45 AM.  STUDENTS WERE OUT OF THEIR CLASSES FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR WHILE POLICE SWEPT THE BUILDING… AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE THREAT WAS "NON-CREDIBLE".   NOTHING WAS FOUND IN THE POLICE SWEEP AND CLASSES RESUMED SHORTLY AFTER NOON.  SOME STUDENTS ARE BEING INTERVIEWED BY RESOURCE OFFICER BILLY MULLIS – BUT THERE ARE NO SUSPECTS AS YET.

MONDAY’S THREAT COMES LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AFTER ANOTHER BOMB TREAT CLEARED THE BUILDING AND SENT EVERYONE HOME… THAT WAS ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4th.  POLICE ARRESTED 17 YEAR OLD JOHNATHAN PARKER IN THAT CASE… THE STUDENT IS FACING 3 FELONY COUNTS FOR THE FALSE-BOMB THREAT.
