The first few days of school haven’t gone well at Rome High School. Reports of a fight on Wednesday between five male students lead to a teenager being charged with a felony. Then on Thursday, five female students got into a fight on Thursday.
Rome Assistance Police Chief Debbie Burnett confirmed the fight involving the five juvenile females and occurred in the cafeteria.
This comes a day after five male students were charged in a fight Wednesday morning.
Six were charged following a restroom fight on Tuesday.
On Wednesday afternoon, a 17-year-old student was charged with a felony count of terroristic threats and acts.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Candarious Jo’Harvey Mundy stated that if there were a school shooting, he would be the one who would be the shooter.
