Another Oakview Health and Rehabilitation employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

Reno Lambert, director of Oakview, told WZQZ News on Monday afternoon that the employee has not been at the nursing home for the past nine days.  Mr. Lambert says that the employee had a family member who had tested positive for coronavirus as well and got tested.  Lambert says that the employee is asymptomatic, but will be on quarantine for the next fourteen days.

Mr. Lambert said that Oakview has been fortunate not to have any cases of COVID-19 among residents at Oakview.  Lambert said that the facility has been doing all within their power to keep residents safe, and continues to operate with strict protocol.

Lambert said, “We pray every day that no residents are affected by this pandemic.  We will continue to practice strict guidelines in the hopes that all of our residents stay healthy.”
