Another employee at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation in Summerville has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Families of Oakview residents were notified late Saturday afternoon that the employee had tested positive for coronavirus.  The employee has not worked at the nursing facility for “several days”, according to the information released.  The employee received the results of their test on Saturday.

Unlike many nursing facilities in Northwest Georgia, Oakview has not had any patient cases of COVID-19 during the pandemic.

Another part-time employee of Oakview tested positive for COVID-19 in mid-July.
