In a press release earlier this month the Trump Administration has announced a partnership with many chain and independent pharmacies ahead of the anticipated release of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Although no vaccine has been released yet, officials are expecting a vaccine to roll out in mid-December for Georgia. In a meeting with local nursing home officials in Floyd County, Gov. Kemp said he expects that health-care workers and the vulnerable population, including those in nursing homes, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions to receive priority in getting the vaccine.

Currently 2 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna have shown good results in clinical trials and are now waiting on emergency use authorization from the FD A. When approved the vaccine will also be available at many pharmacies nationwide. The list of pharmacies signed on as of November 6th are listed below.
