The need for bottled water in Chattooga County has been high for the past several days and area UGA Extension Offices have been rallying to help out those without drinking water in Summerville and Menlo.

The Catoosa County Extension office has delivered bottled water to Chattooga County residents and the Walker County Extension office has been taking donations of bottled water to help out with the need in Chattooga County.

Officials in Summerville say that it is possible that water could be restored by the end of the week, but no definite timeline has been given for when the water will be restored.
