A twenty-nine-year-old Armuchee man was being held without bond this week after he fled from Floyd County Police on Sunday.  According to reports, Bill Franklin Douglas III fled and was driving 20 mph over the speed limit at the time of his arrest.  He has been charged with DUI,  felony fleeing from police, failure to maintain lane, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, a number of other traffic infractions and six counts of obstruction of law enforcement after he resisted arrest.
