A thirty-one-year-old Armuchee mom was jailed on Friday of last week for sending fake doctor’s excuses to school with her child.  According to reports over the weekend, the Floyd County School System sought to charge the woman with felony forgery charges after what they described as a chronic pattern of sending forged, fake, doctor’s excuses to Armuchee Primary School in an effort to get her child out of school without repercussions.  Jennifer Leigh Vasser was jailed with a $5,700 bond on the felony forgery charges.
