Chattooga County Sheriff Ralph Kellett told AM 1180 Chattooga Radio News late yesterday afternoon that investigators had arrested three individuals for the damage to and theft of copper and aluminum components of four air conditioning units on Tuesday. The air conditioning units were locaated at the Summerville Head Start behind the old Pennville Elementary School and at the Leroy Massey Elementary School. The damage reported in this theft was in the excess of $160,000. The investigation is continuing and those arrested were:
William Hurst age 22 of Summerville – Charged with 7 counts Felony Criminal Damage to Property, 7 Counts of Felony Theft by Taking
Timothy Oliva age 21 of Summerville – Charged with 7 counts Felony Criminal Damage to Property, 7 Counts of Felony Theft by Taking
Justin Busby age 17 of Ft. Payne, Alabama – Charged with 4 counts of Felony Criminal Damage to Property, 4 Counts of Felony Theft by Taking
