Berry College has announced a grant of $2 million by the Atrium Health Floyd-Polk Foundation for the new Morgan-Bailey Health Sciences Building.

The collaboration between Atrium Health Floyd and Berry College is an effort to address disparities of health and access to healthcare providers in Northwest Georgia. Berry’s two-year Master of Medical Science – Physician Associate degree (scheduled to begin in August 2025) will enroll 40 students, for an annual PA enrollment of 80 students. Berry’s nursing program is set to expand as well  in response to its success and the continuing shortage of highly qualified nurses.

This generous donation is a testament to Atrium’s belief in the transformative power of education. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for Berry’s nursing and physician associate students in our local communities. Together, we are working to improve this place where we live, work, and serve.

A groundbreaking for the new building is slated for March 22^nd at 4 PM.
