The Chattooga County Veterans Committee will be having a $6,000 Cash Giveaway, with six drawings of $1,000 each.
The first drawing will be held November 14th.
Only 500 tickets will be sold.
All proceeds will go to the Veteran’s Memorial Park.

A Silver Creek woman remains lodged in the Floyd County Jail after police say they found meth in her home.
51 year old Linda Tidmore of 1408 Abrams Road was arrested early Saturday and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
Randy Clowers, Jr. has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with the death of Justin Jamil Foster in April of last year (2014).
Clowers, age 23, was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole plus five years for killing Foster at the Chevy Club on Cave Spring Road. He received concurrent sentences on several other charges including aggravated assault and participating in gang activity.
Clowers, an admitted member of the Bloods gang, was reportedly aiming at another person who had punched a friend of his during a brawl at the nightclub. He missed, and instead hit Foster in the spine, fatally wounding the 26 year old.
Clowers was apprehended several weeks later at a residence in Augusta.

It appears as though for only the third time in the last 40 years, social security recipients, disabled veterans and federal retirees will NOT be receiving an increase in benefits for the coming year.
Somewhat surprisingly, the reason they're probably not going to be receiving an increase is due to lower prices at the pump.
The annual cost of living adjustment is based on a government measure of inflation – which is being reduced by those lower gasoline prices.
The government is scheduled to announce that cost of living adjustment, or if there will be one, this Thursday (October 15th).
Economists are saying there's very little chance the numbers will produce benefit increases for 2016. It was back in 1975 that Congress enacted automatic increases for Social Security recipients, and since that time increases have averaged about 4% per year.
There were no increases in 2010 or 2011.
About sixty million retirees, disabled workers, spouses and children receive Social Security benefits – with the average monthly payment being $1,224.
The cost of living adjustment also affects benefits for around four million disabled veteran's as well as two-and-a-half million federal retirees and their survivors and some eight million people who receive Supplemental Security Income.
