Chattooga County Chamber Luncheon

This month, the Rome Braves are going to "take you out to the ball game"!  Hear General Manager Mike Dunn and his team tell us about our Rome Braves' season, all the exciting new changes and improvements at State Mutual Stadium, how to get tickets for group outings and more!

The Summerville and Menlo Georgia Pre-K classes currently have available slots for the 2017-2018 school year.  To qualify, children should be four-years old by September 1, 2017 and a reside in the county. Enrollment is free and there are no income qualifying guidelines. Bus transportation is also available. Call 706-857-3490 for more information or drop by the pre-k office at 206 Penn Street.

Trion Second Saturday Concert Series presents: A Free Concert featuring Jose Chairez. Please join us this Saturday on Park Avenue across from Town Hall at 7:00 pm Concessions will be provided by Tortaco Restaurant and the Trion Band Boosters.

Vision Rehabilitation Services of Georgia to meet at Rome-Floyd County Library, located at 205 Riverside Parkway, in the Oostanaula Room on Wednesday May 24th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The Chattooga High School Soccer Teams will be hosting a Soccer Clinic for students in grades K-8 on Saturday, May 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  The clinic will be held at the practice field behind the softball complex at the school.  The cost for the clinic is $15 and there will be several drawings for prizes.  The CHS players will be working in age groups to teach drills and fundamentals.  Registration will begin at 8:30.  Forms have been sent out at all Chattooga County Schools.
