A date for a murder trial for a Chattooga County woman accused of killing her husband, Edward Earl Lanham, in 2017 has been set for later this month.
In the latest round of numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health, Chattooga County recorded another COVID-19 death. It was the first COVID-19 death reported in Chattooga County in a month.
In an interview with the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, Atrium Health Floyd CEO and executive vice-president Kurt Stuenkel said that the soon to be built free-standing emergency room in Chattooga County “will save lives”.
