Summerville Man Arrested In Rome On Chattooga Warrant

A Chattooga County man was arrested by law enforcement in Floyd County.  Floyd County Police were looking to serve a warrant on fifty-year-old Mack Arthur Ray and found him at a residence on  Clearvue Circle.  As officers were serving the warrant from Chattooga County on Ray, they found him to be in possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.  Ray was held for Chattooga County authorities and faces additional drug possession charges from Floyd County.

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is proud to announce the students on the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the 2021 fall semester. To be eligible for the President’s List, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.8 or higher during the semester with a course load of at least 12 credit hours. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.5 to 3.79 during the semester with a course load of at least 12 credit hours.
