Try-Con Owner Learned Of Resolution With County From Newspaper Article

Last year, Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry sent a letter to Try-Con in Lyerly demanding the company reimburse the county $47,000 for sewer line expansion at the company’s plant on Highway 114.   Now, the commissioner is rescinding that demand and Try-Con is looking to be annexed into the Town of Lyerly.

Georgia officials announced the launching Wednesday of a website where homeowners can apply for help with mortgages and utilities as part of a $354 million fund. The Georgia Mortgage Assistance program is designed to help people who have been adversely impacted by COVID-19, with the money coming from federal funds that were approved with the American Rescue Plan.
