The IRS is warning taxpayers at the opening of the 2023 tax filing season that they should expect smaller refunds due to pandemic relief measures that have been allowed to expire.
The Town of Trion is actively seeking someone to be the new Recreation Department leader. The council approved the resignation of the former Rec Director Rusty Brown at last week’s town council meeting. Brown had served as Recreation Director for the Town of Trion since June of 2018.
