Chattooga Shriners Collecting Money This Weekend

Sample Image

The Chattooga Shrine Club made the decision to cancel this year’s telethon due to the number of COVID cases in our area. The annual Shrine Telethon raises thousands of dollars each year to support the Shrine Hospitals where children get medical care totally free of charge.  Normally, when the telethon is happening, Shriners will stand along the road at major intersections throughout the county to collect money.  While the telethon won’t be happening, Shriners say that they still plan to “bucket” collect this weekend.  If you see a Shriner this weekend, please make a donation to the Shriners Hospitals.
