A child was hit by a car on Highway 27 in Summerville near Advance Auto on Friday evening. According to reports and Summerville Police, the child was hit in the southbound lane. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident. No word on the status of the child who was hit at this time.
Chattooga High School released information on Tuesday evening saying the CHS Football Team is now in quarantine due to a direct exposure to COVID-19.
