Grace Temple Holiness Church, 356 7th St Summerville, will having a 3 night revival Oct 12, 13&14 @7pm nightly, Mon night speaker will be Minister Bertha Johnson,Tue night will be Minister Joann Martin and Wed night will be Pastor Jerry Williams of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
The 3 night revival will lead up to Pastor Appreciation Day,Oct 18,2026. Service will begin at 3pm dinner will be served at 2pm. Dr Brien Martin of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. Please come out and help us honor and celebrate our Pastor for his hard work, spiritual guidance and leadership. Spring Creek Baptist Church is taking reservations for this year’s Judgment House at The Creek, with performances scheduled over two weekends in October.
The event will be held October 16 through 18 and October 23 through 25.
Hours will be 7 PM to 10 PM on Fridays, 4 PM to 10 PM on Saturdays, and 1 PM to 6 PM on Sundays.
Each reservation time slot will last about one hour, with a maximum of 25 people per time slot.
Because of technical issues with the church website, reservations are currently being handled by text. Those wishing to reserve a time may text 423-463-0244.
There is no charge for admission, although donations will be accepted to help support the church’s Thanksgiving outreach boxes.
Organizers say they are looking forward to sharing this year’s presentation with the community.
Old Path Baptist Church in Summerville will celebrate its 25th Anniversary Homecoming on Sunday, October 18, with a special morning service, gospel singing and fellowship meal. The homecoming service will begin at 10:30 AM at the church, located at 1039 Mahan Road in Summerville. Special music during the morning service will be provided by The Buddy Robertson Family. Following the service, those attending are invited to stay for lunch and fellowship in the church fellowship hall. The anniversary homecoming marks 25 years for Old Path Baptist Church, with members, former members, friends and others from the community invited to attend the celebration.

A special night celebrating people with special needs is coming to Summerville in February, with registration set to begin next month.
Connect City Church will host Night to Shine on Friday, February 12, 2027, an event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
Night to Shine is a red-carpet experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Guests are treated as honored VIPs throughout the evening, with activities including a red-carpet entrance, professional photographs, dinner and dancing.
One of the highlights of the evening is the crowning ceremony, when each guest is crowned a king or queen.
Organizers say the goal is for every participant to leave the event feeling loved, honored and celebrated.
Sign-ups will begin in October, with additional registration and event information expected to be announced soon.
The event will be held at Connect City Church in Summerville and is sponsored locally by SpeakLife and Connect City Church.
