Man Says He Can’t Get His Ex-Wife to Pick Up Her Oven and Deep Freezer

Summerville resident Christopher Tidmore filed a report with the Summerville Police Department last week when he allegedly couldn’t get his ex-wife to pick up her oven deep freezer from his Hinton Street residence.

Mr. Tidmore told a responding officer that he and his ex-wife had divorced in late August and that he had since taken all of her belongings to her new residence, but there was an oven and deep freezer still at his property that she had not picked up.

Tidmore was told by the officer that a report would be filed, and he was advised to take up the issue in magistrate court.

Neighbors Inform Woman of an Attempt to Break into Her Apartment

According to Summerville Police Department Records, Allen St. resident Whitney Moose’s neighbors told her last Tuesday that two people had tried to break into her apartment the night before.

Moose’s neighbor, Adam Trammel, relayed to an SPD officer what he told Moose: late during the night prior, Angel Hix and AJ Adams had come to Moose’s apartment and rapped on the door repeatedly, shortly before being run off of the property by Moose’s grandfather, who lives nearby on Allen St. as well. According to Trammel, the two hoped in their late ’80’s/early ’90s white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck and barreled out of Moose’s driveway, disregarding the nearby stop sign.

Moose also informed the deputy that she had discovered the screen of her window removed laying on the ground, and she found a cinderblock propped under her neighbor’s window.

The incident is being investigated by the Summerville Police Department.
