The Northwest Georgia Balloon Festival continues today in Menlo.  The event has been drawing big crowds from all over the area.  With many vendors and carnival rides set up at the recreation park in Menlo, hundreds of onlookers have been able to take in the sights and sounds of what organizers plan to be an annual event.  Chattooga Radio News spoke with State Representative Barbara Reece on Saturday; she stated that the festival was going well and that there were no major problems to report.  Reece urged motorist to use caution when traveling Georgia Highway 48 coming into Menlo.  Parking is available in the field next to the ball park and traffic control is in place. Today is the final day for the Northwest Georgia Balloon Festival taking place in Menlo.
