You really can get banned from Walmart.
Chattooga County Deputies were recently dispatched to the Highway 27 store in regard to a Trion woman who had previously been banned.
As law enforcement arrived on the scene, they were told by store personnel the subject was in a car, attempting to leave; deputies flagged that vehicle down and escorted the woman in the passenger seat over to speak with the store's Asset Protection Manager who confronted about the fact that she had been banned last December 22nd – and, had furthermore, signed paper work acknowledging that fact.
In a stunning display of somewhat flawed logic she told them she knew she was banned but she had been back in the store several times since then – which as it turns out didn't make it all right.
The 33 year old was arrested for criminal trespass and given a ride to the Chattooga County Jail.
