The Chattooga County Navigator Team will be holding their 2^nd Annual Banquet of the Stars for the athletes who participate in the Chattooga Co. Special Olympics on May 11^th as well as the contributors who make the Special Olympics possible.  This banquet will be held at the Chattooga High School cafeteria this Saturday evening, May 14^th at 6:00 pm.  Invitations have been sent to the athletes through the school system as well as through postal mail.  The invitations provided the contact information of Ms. Debbie Garrett at the Chattooga County Special Education for RSVPs and any questions. 

Each athlete can receive free of charge three tickets that can be used for themselves and up to two additional tickets that can be used for parents, guardians, or friends to attend with them.  Additional tickets are also available for any additional family members or friends for $5 a person.

A power point presentation will be shown that night of the Special Olympics day’s highlights so those who were unable to attend on the date of the Special Olympics will be able to see some of the day’s activities that involved their child or friend.  A nice dinner will be served to those in attendance and in honor the child’s participation in the Special Olympics a trophy will be presented to each athlete in honor of the great job that they do.  Also we will honor the community sponsors for their help.
