The Atlanta Journal – Constitution reported that a fifth-grade teacher charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation was released from the Bartow County Jail Tuesday after posting $40,000 bond.

Gina Leigh Sabin, 39, of Cartersville, who’s on paid leave from Cloverleaf Elementary School, is accused of sexually assaulting a boy younger than 16. The boy did not attend Cloverleaf.

The police report states that the incidents occurred in June at a residence, and that police were notified by the Division of Family & Children Services.

Superior Court Judge David Smith set Sabin’s bond at a Tuesday hearing, imposing these conditions: Sabin is prohibited from having any contact with the boy, from being on school property, from supervising children, and from having contact with children other than her own.

Sabin’s attorney, Jason Johnson, could not immediately be reached for comment.
