Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum will be closed until next Wednesday to allow workers to clear debris from the December storm. The storms, which included a tornado, damaged or downed more than 100 trees causing damage to the museum roof, the Original Cabin and the gift shop.

Cleanup started this week as students and staff hauled off trees and limbs from the Dec. 22 storms that hit Rome.

Oak Hill and its adjacent outbuildings did not appear to sustain any damage
