A man was struck by a car while riding his bicycle on Turner-McCall Boulevard in Rome.

According to reports, James Lupo was riding his bike north in the southbound lane near Ace Hardware when he was hit by a Nissan Altima.

The accident report indicated the car was attempting to turn right out of the store parking lot when Lupo was struck.

Lupo, who was not seriously injured, was cited for failure to obey traffic laws.
