The Georgia Department of Natural Recources picked up a black bear in the Tidings area Friday morning that had been struck and killed by a motorist.

According to information received by AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio, the bear weighed around 150 pounds.  No word on the vehicle that struck the animal.
