Blood Assurance employees invite you to get in the giving spirit this month by giving back to the community. In addition to the regional blood center’s usual role of supplying area hospitals with life-saving blood donations, Blood Assurance is offering several volunteer opportunities for blood donors and non-blood donors.

At its Cartersville location, Blood Assurance is collecting a variety of personal and household items for the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter. Visitors can pick up a complete wish list at the Blood Assurance Cartersville office located at 921 B Joe Frank Harris Parkway in the Collins Point Plaza. Donated items will be accepted through Nov. 26.

With close proximity to Hamilton Place Mall, the Gunbarrel office of Blood Assurance, along with the Catoosa Home Educators Association, will offer free gift wrapping for all blood donors on Black Friday, Nov. 26. Donors who hit the sales early can finish their day by giving the gift of life as their purchases are wrapped. The Gunbarrel office is located behind FSG Bank, next to Chick-Fil-A.
