Atrium Health Floyd and Chattooga Freestanding Emergency Department have teamed up with Blood Assurance to host a blood drive on Monday, August 4th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The event will take place at 13583 Highway 27, Trion, GA 30753.
In an effort to encourage blood donations, Blood Assurance is offering a $20 eGift card to all donors who participate in the drive. Donors are encouraged to sign up for the event by visiting www.bloodassurance.org/ahfloyd4 or calling 1-800-962-0628.
“We are proud to partner with Blood Assurance for this important event,” said a representative from Atrium Health Floyd. “Blood donations are critical in saving lives, and we encourage everyone who is eligible to donate to consider participating in this drive.”
To ensure a smooth donation process, Blood Assurance offers the following tips:
- Eat a good meal before donating.
- Avoid energy drinks, as they may interfere with the donation process.
- Bring a valid ID with you to the event.
- Drink extra water to stay hydrated.
