James H. "Sloppy Floyd" State Park will host a Blue Moon Paddle Friday night

The peaceful, ranger-led paddle is set for 8-9 p.m. on the lake at sunset for the first blue moon in three years. It is for those 16-years-old and older who can swim.

Cost is $8 and includes a boat, paddle and personal floatation device; $2 if you have a boat; plus $5 for parking.
