On Wednesday afternoon, Calhoun Police issued a statement saying that a body had been found, and that police believe the deceased was a homeless man that had been living in the area for sometime. According to the press release, the body was found in a tent in the woods behind the Walgreens store, located at 910 South Wall Street.

Calhoun Police Chief Tony Pyle says that the identity of the man has not been released, but that he believes the body to be that of a man who has “lived on the streets” for some time.
