A break-in at a Bankey Farm Road address was reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, with the complainant stating that a number of items had been stolen from inside the home – including a gas powered generator, an air compressor and a variety of other tools, with an estimated combined value in excess of $5,300.

He informed deputies the break-in had apparently occurred, between 9:00 the night before, and 8:30 that morning, adding that there were no signs of forced entry.

The matter has been turned over to the Investigations Division.
