Chattooga County Ambulance service were experiencing a high call volume on Friday evening. While there were no major wrecks reported in the county, the ambulances were kept busy on Friday evening running back and forth to Rome.
Local fire departments were being dispatched to help with the emergency calls. One call came from a person who had apparently fell from a vehicle, and was reported to be bleeding badly. Another call answered by local fire departments involved a man experiencing chest pains.
