Summerville could be getting a new chicken restaurant, and people are talking.  Word came this week that Zaxby’s is looking into a new restaurant in Chattooga County.  The restaurant would be located near the Summerville McDonald’s at Hurley’s Crossing.  The request is scheduled on the agenda for the next Chattooga Land Development Commission’s meeting on Tuesday, May 9th.  That meeting will be held at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville.  Zaxby’s has about 900 restaurants, mostly in the South.  Of those 900 restaurants, around 190 are owned and operated by the company with the remainder being franchised locations.
