A Charter Communications Field Auditor reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office the theft of services on April 29.

Josh James told deputies that while performing a routine audit on April 27, he discovered that tenants in one apartment had connected a cable line to another apartments cable system to steal cable service. He said he disconnected it and tagged the line concerning cable theft.

James said when he returned to do a follow up he noticed the original lines had been reconnected again to another apartment's cable system.  by using  crimp-on connecters and an after market splitter. The value of the services stolen is valued at $270.

Another disconnect was performed on April 29 while law enforcement were at the address, and again the lines were tagged. James was advised of Magistrate Court procedures concerning the incident.
