A Calhoun man was jailed over the weekend after he allegedly entered a home on Alabama Highway and attacked a woman with a hammer.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
twenty-five-year-old Jose Enrique Roman-Salgado began to strangle the victim after he lost possession of the hammer.
He also broke the rear windshield glass of the victim’s vehicle before entering the home through a window.
Roman-Salgado is charged with aggravated assault, burglary, and criminal trespass.
