A twenty-seven-year-old Gordon County woman was arrested this week on a felony warrant that charged her with first-degree burglary in Floyd County.
According to a report from law enforcement, Chelsi Rena Nation of Calhoun – along with a co-conspirator – drove to a residence that was under construction on Mt. Alto Road in Rome and broke into a house. Police say that the structure was entered by force.
Multiple power tools had been taken from inside the house and placed on the ground outside when the owner arrived, interrupting the theft. Nation and the other person fled the scene together.
The incident occurred on January 19, 2020.
Nation was booked into the Floyd County Jail on burglary charges.
