Candidates from Summerville, Trion and Lyerly will have an opportunity to speak directly to voters at a candidate’s forum that will be held on Saturday October 31st. The Town of Lyerly is hosting the candidate forum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day and candidates are invited to give a five to ten minute speech. Chili and hot dogs will be served and all of the residents of all towns are welcome to come and meet their candidates, according to Lyerly Councilwoman Debbie Jones.  “We hope to have a great turnout and invite anyone interested to attend.” Candidates wishing to help out with food cost should contact Lyerly Town Hall or Councilwoman Jones.
