As of Tuesday two people have qualified to run for a Superior Court judge in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, which includes Walker, Catoosa, Dade and Chattooga counties.
Larry Stagg, a Ringgold attorney, and Chris Arnt, a assistant district attorney for the judicial circuit, have qualified, according to the Secretary of State’s office.
Brian House of Ringgold and Bill Rhyne of LaFayette are expected to qualify today.
Qualifying began Monday in Atlanta. It ends Friday. Judges run non-partisan.
The judicial circuit has four judges. Judge Ralph Hill Jr. is retiring this summer.
