A Summerville woman has reported that someone has stolen cash and several cast iron skillets, among other items from her home.

Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies spoke with Mary Kirby, who stated that sometime between January and now, someone had taken around $250 in cash from her pocketbook. Kirby states that a William Dex Moore had been staying at and doing some work around her house, which he had been compensated for. Kirby and Moore had exchanged words over the missing money, and Kirby instructed Moore that he was no longer welcome. After this, Kirby noted several other items missing.

These items were not noticed prior as Kirby had been in the hospital, almost continuously since early January. A list of missing items is being compiled however Kirby did note that around $400 of cast iron skillets were missing.
