Trion United Methodist Church will have their Brunswick Stew available Saturday, February 6, 2021. It is $7 per quart. The stew will be ready around 10:30 a.m. Please pick the stew up from the fellowship hall (under the awning) before 1:00 p.m. We have taken special precautions to protect our special people that purchase our stew and our volunteer stew workers! Thank you to all who support our stew project.
The Trion United Methodist Men will have a Bake Sale beginning at 10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. There will be a selection of cookies, brownies, fried pies, cakes, and other sweets
There’s Hope For The Hungry will be giving away food boxes at North Summerville Baptist Church, Thursday January 28th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Please remain in your vehicle and the food boxes will be loaded for you. Church is located at 119 Maplewood Drive.
Glori Boyd, founder of Far Above Rubies Women’s Ministry, will be hosting a community wide baby shower sponsoring 30 expectant mothers.
If you would like to contribute to the shower, donated items can be dropped off at the Tax Commissioners Office or you can make arrangements with Glori through Facebook.
Any baby essentials are needed! No gift is too big or too small. Please drop off the items unwrapped and in their original packaging so that all items can be distributed equally among the mothers.

If there are any churches or ladies groups that would like to make a “pamper me” bag for the 30 mother’s to be, that is welcomed and appreciated as well.
