The Dry Valley Baptist Clothes Closet will be open today, Wednesday. Feb. 5 from 9AM-11AM. They will have plenty of winter clothes, coats, jackets & coats for entire family. Please come & pick out what you need. There is never a charge, they ask that you only take what you need, never take in excess or sell them. There will be a Community dinner at Summerville First United Methodist church on the first Wednesday of each month…There is no charge for the meal but donations are excepted and child care is provided…Wednesday February 5th at 6PM will be the next dinner…All are invited….
Trion United Methodist Church will have their Brunswick Stew available today, Saturday, February 1. It is $7.00 per quart. The stew should be ready around 10:30 a.m. You may pick the stew up in the fellowship hall before 1:00 p.m. They usually sell out so the stew is sold on a first come first served basis. The church would like to say “Thank You” to all who support their stew project.
